Do's and Don'ts
We all love our hair and try our best to take care of it. But wait do we follow the right way to maintain healthy hair? How do we know what's right and what's wrong? how do we know do's and don'ts? well ofcouse you may think that we have use every thing and check what happens,
But wait? What if we damage hair? Ofcourse trying every thing on our hair damages hair and improves splits, breakage etc... so we have to take cautions depending on some factors.
Factors to depend on :
1. Our hair type
2. Our hair texture
3. Our hair length
4. Our scalp conditions
5. Our hair conditions
6. Allergies if any etc...
By viewing above factors we have to start using products on our hair. And no need to panic because many people on internet provided information about above factors, what to use for these factors individually and many more...
Do's :
1. Regularly wash your hair but doesn't mean that use more shampoo
2. Do dilute shampoo with water before applying to your hair
3. Dont mess with hair while shampooing, apply from scalp to tips slowly
4. Do wash if your hair feels sticky
5. Do wrap your hair in towel after taking shower to absorb moisture
6. Use less heat to hair
7. Do use a product with a UV filter or wear a hat when going in the sun to reduce fading if your hair is coloured
8. Do use oils regularly before head bath
9. Do massage your scalp to stimulate hair growth
10. Do apply conditioner
11. Do leave your conditioner in as long as possible, it gives moisture, smoothness etc...
12. Do use shower cap while you do all your beauty treatments in the shower, then rinse out
13. Do avoid fatty acids and maintain healthy diet, because food actually affects hair and scalp health directly.
14. Do have regular trims, remove split-ends and helps to avoid breakage
15. Do have regular hair masks
16. Invest in hair care products and remember quality over quantity
17. Use hot water for hair wash
18. Take sun protection seriously
19. Go easy on your scalp
20. Use products like rice water etc.. for best results.
Don'ts :
1. Don't pree your hairdryer on to your hair to straighten or make it dry faster. because, it gives frizzy look to your hair.
2. Dont rub your hair in the wrong way, drying hair gently from to to tip will make it ook shinier and smoother
3. Dont use more heat on hair
4. Dont spray perfumes on hair coz they leave chemicals on your hair which leads to hair damage
5. Dont do more blow drying, try to air dry
6. Dont rely on styling products to amke your hair look good
7. Dont use products without knowing your hair type and condition
8. Dont teir your hair
9. Dry your hair properly
10. Dont over-brush your hair if you want to stay looking cleaner for longer.
11. Dont do much colouring, straightening and bleaching processes because they weaken your hair
12. Dont use cold water for hair wash
13. Dont use metal brushes and comb
14. Comb carefully, dont let your hair stuck
15. Dont apply shampoo directly on to your scalp
16. Dont rub your hair in wrong direction
17. Dont use all products on hair, specially to ones your to allergic
18. Dont wash hair everyday
19. Don't stress
20. Dont eat everything out there, maintain balanced diet.
Do follow these tips given given above to make your hair look strong, healthy, smooth, shinier and darker. All the above tips are tested and followed by millions of people out there.
